Get students talking- One of our goals in the Youth Ministry at Southwest is to prepare students for Christian life after grade school. We want students to be prepared to enter the world of "adult church", and that is why we have Sunday morning small groups. Our Small groups are modeled after our adult small groups. Just like their parents, youth will particpate in worship and hear a sermon from Brandon. During second service, we head upstairs and break into age and gender appropriate small groups led by one of our amazing youth sponsors. Our hope is that students will learn to not just sit and listen about God, but talk about him as well.

Take the conversation home- We want to equip parents to have faith based conversations in the home. To help with this goal, we provide Sofa Talk cards at the info booth every Sunday with list of questions your students go over in small group this morning. Grab a card and get to talkin'!

ReFuel gives students a chance to be themselves in a Christian atmosphere. We socialize, play some games, join our Youth band in singing praises, and listen to a message from God's Word.

• To TRANSFORM FAMILIES through the transformation of the youth

• To intentionally TRAIN students to be SERVANTS of Christ

• To prepare students to live the rest of their lives for the Kingdom of God so that they will REACH their POTENTIAL in Christ
