We have numerous ways that you can use your talents and gifts to serve at Southwest. Take a look at some of the many ministries here at Southwest that would love your invovlemement and participation. If you are interested in volunteering in any of these areas, please email the church office at office@swcchurch.org
Administration
The Administration Ministry operates under the oversight of the Administrative Assistant and performs a variety of functions, most of which are done in the church office. These functions include:
Care Ministry
The purpose of our Care Ministry is to meet the needs of our church members who are ill, grieving or shut-in. We also serve the community through our support of Neighborhood Needs, which provides food and clothing for those in need.

Our mission is to be known as a loving, caring, church that not only meets spiritual needs, but also takes care of the body and the heart.
Connections Ministry
The Connections Ministry is designed to ensure that all guests at Southwest Christian Church encounter Christ through a warm welcome on Sunday mornings and leave, not only amazed by the Christ-like treatment they receive, but also eager to return.
Facilities Ministry
We use our facility as a tool to further the cause of Christ and to bring people to salvation. This tool can be used to accomplish many good works and serve this community in ways we have not thought possible.

Our mission is to have a facility whose use pleases God, is functional for all ministries, and is visually pleasing to members and visitors.
Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry helps to build and strengthen friendships within the congregation. We have a great time following this Biblical guideline of fellowship and sharing our lives.

We oversee the planning of major events (such as Easter Brunch and the Christmas Feast) that include the entire church family. We plan periodic luncheons following our morning worship time. Also, each Sunday morning we provide coffee and donuts for the whole family.
Missions
The Missions Ministry of Southwest Christian Church is the instrument of this local body that promotes evangelism and the good news of God's saving grace throughout the world - locally, nationally, or internationally.

Our primary method of accomplishing this is through education. We provide classes within our own church walls and also support Christian educational institutions and missionaries throughout the world who share the good news and prepare others to evangelize and minister.
Prayer Ministry
The purpose of our prayer ministry is to educate and encourage individuals to develop and cultivate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through a life of prayer and to intercede on behalf of the church through prayer.
Worship Ministry
Sitemap
The Worship Ministry exists to exalt God as Father and Jesus as Lord and Savior, to meet the needs of the entire body so that each would worship in spirit and in truth, to provide outlet for people to use their talents in a way pleasing to God, and to provide ways which people can learn more about God and thus truly understand how and why we worship.

The Worship team continually prays for provision of talented people who desire to assist in every aspect of our ministry. If you believe that God is calling you to serve in worship, we want to hear from you. The worship ministry consists of singers, musicians, sound engineers, lighting technicians, and computer programmers.
