Our Leadership

Jared is our Youth Minister. Together, he and his wife, Kelly, lead our youth in fellowship with God and each other. He is a recent graduate of Dallas Christian College with a Bachelors Degree in Ministry Leadership. He loves Astros baseball, Marvel Comics, and enjoys reading.

Genieva is the Office Manager here at Southwest. She handles the bulletins, newsletters, church emails and other communication. If you have any questions about events or who you should talk to about something, she's the one to ask. She can connect you with the right leaders to help you find your home at SWCC. Genieva is orginally from Lubbock and has lived in Crowley with her husband, Chris, for 9 years. She and Chris have 2 children and love being a part of the Southwest family.

Our Senior Minister is Brandon Groome. He and his wife, Rena, have served in ministry together for over 12 years. Brandon's passion and education (geared toward church planting) took him to Slovakia for a two year mission and their family to China for a number of years as well. This next chapter of Brandon's and Rena's ministry has brought them to Southwest to see the church @ home grow and reach this side of the world with the message of Christ.
Brandon loves to read and collects books written on and by dead theologians. He also reads a ton about leadership strategies. In his off time he hangs with his family, takes some so-so pictures, and drinks a crazy strong brew of coffee.

Our Family Life Minsiter is Stacy Hildebrand. He has served in ministry as a youth and associate minister since 2001. He came to Southwest in Janurary 2011 to work with families. He has a passion for equipping families for the cause of Christ. His wife Jennifer is a songwriter and the two of them have served with the worship team at Southwest. They have three children, Timbrel, Dakota and Warner.

Kerry served as an Elder/Volunteer Ministry leader in Children's Ministry for over 20 years here at Southwest Christian Church. His retirement from Lockheed Martin, after 31 years, opened the door to answer God's calling as the Children's Minister. He and his wife, Carol, love the kids here at Southwest and look forward to seeing what God does in the years to come. In his spare time, Kerry is the author of the Young Ace Roberts Adventures - a Young Adult/ Christian-based novel series published by Seven Realms Publishing.
