Our Family Life Ministry

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. - Deuteronomy 6:6-7

The goal of the Family Life Ministry at Southwest is not merely to build another program but to build life through families! We are convinced that every person who walks through our doors has the same basic desire; to have a better more fulfilling life for themselves and especially for their families. As much as we all want that we also realize that families with children in their homes are under a tremendous amount of stress. Our desire is to help ease those burden by equipping, training, and encouraging young families who are fighting on the front lines of this culture's battleground!

The Family Life Ministry at Southwest is seeking to gear everything we do, every class we teach and every program we initiate, toward enriching and emboldening our members to live, walk, and talk their faith at home because we truly believe what Deuteronomy 6 says - we are not victorious until we win our families!
